Doors won't stay open

Hi

Our driveway is on an incline and when opening the doors, they won't stay open.
Sometimes they will if you open them fully and very gently let them go

It's not just one door either they are all like it
Didn't get this issue on my previous car and doesn't happen with the wife's Range Rover either

Is there any way to adjust this at all? Or are the door 'stays' (Sorry don't know what the correct term is) just weak on MB?

Same on my E53 cabrio, the doors are too heavy for the stays, the only fault really and I knew this from reviews before purchasing...

The SL was like it but not as bad as the doors were not as long to permit rear passengers, surprised if it is poor on a 4 door though.

I think it must be the weight of the doors though, you can tell the weight and build quality when you close them, very solid!

Solve the problem by changing how you enter the drive. If you drive in forward - reverse.

Can be a bit of a fiddle given the angle of the drive and the way the neighbours seem to like parking around the bottom of the drive.
Would be nice just to be able to adjust the doors. Maybe Germany is more flat than Devon

I have this issue too as some of London’s cambers beggar belief! Just have to be quick…
