doubt about TPMS valves

Hello everyone,
first of all thanks for accepting me on the forum, i'm from Lisbon, and i just bought a GLA 200d latest model.

I would be grateful if someone could explain to me if the TPMS valves always show the temperature and pressure of the tires or if there are some valves that only show the pressure.
I ask this because the display on my new GLA does not show the tire temperature, only the pressure, will it be configurable in the car system?

Welcome. Sorry, I don’t know about your car but my 2018 GLC just shows the tyre pressure not the temperature.

As above, my last MB only showed pressure, as does my current UnMerc.

I think it tends to only be the rortier end of the car spectrum that monitors temps as well...?

Welcome ! TPMS -tire pressure monitoring system = nothing to do with temperature apart of the situation when weather may also affect your car’s TPMS system — colder temperatures can cause a drop in tire pressure, which may be enough to set off a warning light. While driving will warm up the tires and raise the pressure, which may cause the warning light to turn off

Mine appears just like the picture but without the temperature indication, I already searched in the user manual but does not mention anything about it

As the temperature on that picture is shown as F°, perhaps it is only for the US market?

In Europe most of the new models with the MBUX system come in celsius, it is configurable

Incorrect . Some show both pressure and temperature.

I wasn't talking about display, strictly about TPMS definition wise
