Just a quick shoot of our technician adam working his DPF removal magic.

GAD are one of the few who keep the OEM factory look of the dpf and we use extensive measure's to keep things this way...

- Lazer cut housing
- Zink coated finish
- CA Weld techniques

Unfortunately however we are still in development (yes it been a while) this ecu is a Delphi DCM3.5 2.2 CDI.

Can you tell me what the gains are from removing the DPF, I've had a Superchip installed already and was just wondering if removing the DPF would make a noticable difference in power or economy?

So sorry for the late reply as we didn't get in until very late last night from the ring. Yes you will see a noticeable improvement on power, economy and also engine refinement. Where about in Suffolk are you?

Hi, I was just curious about DPF removal - I've had a superchip fitted and a couple of K&N filters... Fuel economy and power is good already, but if removing the DPF will further enhance this I may get it removed. I'm right on the East coast so about 100 miles away from you.

We have a dealer in Norwich and also Colchester if these are closer for you??? In the Golf 2.0 tdi we have seen gains of up to 20 BHP just from DPF removal.

I have one more question - it's probably been asked before, but will DPF removal affect the MOT? My car actually has no MOT but has a "certificate of compliance" as I use it as a taxi... I can't afford it to fail the test

@ K J C No it wont affect MOT has we keep the original housing and remove contents and are one of the few companies who fully smoke correct the vehicle and map the vehicle correctly so that no smoke is seen. On many occasions emissions have been lower after we have removed DPF filters and mapped them correctly due to engine efficiency.

I'm not actually in Gt. Yarmouth... But if I was it would probably be the fastest lol

I like the fact you can still get great fuel economy and have big power from these engines
