Although I haven't had a warning on the dash that my AdBlue is running low the photo seems to indicate that it is empty when I did a check earlier today.

Found some info on draining, so was wondering if anyone has drained their Adblue tank? If yes would it be okay to use my Sealey oil extractor pump before refilling?

Not sure why you'd want to empty the tank. Surely it needs Adblue adding .... not removing

That's what I intended to do until I read this and a few other articles about AdBlue crystalising.

As you've so little left in the tank I doubt that syphoning it out would make that much difference, especially if you add a couple of gallons.
My car won't tell me what's remaining in the tank. I've just added a gallon every now & then. The last time I did actually brim it. It's yet to ask/tell me to put any in in the past 25k miles/3.5 years

To save messing around there are additives that are purported to stop crystallising.

Does it still look empty with the engine running and how many miles left does it state?
I don't think it gives any reading if the cars not running.

Didn't try it with the engine running just in position one. Will give it another go tomorrow morning.

You were right with the engine running it's good for 3,400 miles so I will top up tomorrow.
