Drip Moulding bottom of Windscreen

I was going to buy two Drain Moulding rubber hoses for my W124 and discovered they over £100 each.
Can anybody tell me why are they so expensive and what function do they have.
As shown in my pics, the mouldings seem to rest between the vents and the plastic drain pipes.
I cant really see what function they have.
Any advice is much appreciated

Ebay is getting full of rip of merchants for those who think ebay is the only place.

Rare parts may cost more but over 100 notes (for a small duct piece) you are having your pants pulled down, bent over, etc

the part is available online for 16 notes - research.

its a duct, guides water to where it should go. MB dont put parts on for a reason
