Driver side Window regulator and motor for s124 e300d 1994

Hi all ,wondered how i get hold of the above parts number and ordering of product

You need to plug your VIN into an electronic catalogue like this one:
https://mercedes.7zap.com/en/eu/fg/car/

Then search for any needed part numbers.

You could Google those part numbers for 2nd hand and aftermarket parts. Or use an online original MB parts supplier like the one I use at:

Do check it out first before you replace it , I purchased a used one fitted it and then found out it was the conection on the window switch

Hi thanks for the tip, the window struggles to go up and down ,the mechanic asked me to get a replacement regulator with motor.I assume he checked or he could just be saving himself a job of finding the cause.

Looks like your mechanic knows his job .My regulator never moved at all, no sound, nothing . In yours it is the motor in the regulator thats tired .. Will you tackle this yourself? There is information on youtube ,, or i have a free manual to guide you if need be , Just dont bolt up the fixing bolts tight till window is in the top of window frame .You will have to operate the window to close it This lets the glass and the regularor center .Then when its closed pinch up the bolts . If your not sure then let the garage do it, it can be dangerous.

thanks for your advice.Leaving it with the mechanic to sort ,just need to find the second hand parts.

See how much a new one from MB is, sometimes they have pretty good prices for new stuff. Regulators are a high wear item on the 124 and give trouble with teeth and bent bits because they get forced. New ones won't suffer from this....
