Driver window SLK 230K

Hello,

I have just bought a 2000 V SLK and after two days the drivers window only opens half way ??? its going back to mercedes.

Any advice or can it be a 2 second job I could try myself ??

Take it back mate it could be anything.If you try it yourself they won't want to know if it is a serios fault.

I dont think you should be doing anything to the door. It struck me only this weekend that as their are airbags in the door it effectively means that any dismantling becomes a dealer task. I assume that these airbags perform the same job as the curtain airbags in my saloon which are in the roof.

Assuming that you bought the car from MB let them do what you paid for.
