Drivers seat base replacing

hello guys

the spundge on my drivers seat seems abit worn out so i think its time to replace it before it damages the leather.

I can get the seat out no problem at all but is it hard to replace the seat base once the seat it out?

Any help would be great

I can send the info later in the day, its not hard, just be sure that when you refit the leather that is all a perfect shape, or you have to take it all out again

What's the car ? If it is a W202 I did mine about 6 months ago.....never again !

You need two people to get the thing squeezed down so that the cover can go back on and that part is hard work ! There is a link here on a w210 seat which is the same really:

I hope its different on the w211 from the w202 selsdon mentioned never again is always a bad thing but ill try almost anything once

im afraid i dont have the vin but its a e class w211 no heated just electric, getting the seat out the car is easy to just removal of seat base onwards would be excellent
