Drivers Seat Repair.

Just got my car back from having the seat repaired, they have done a fantastic job they have replaced the Shite imitation leather with the genuine article. But they had to remove the seat to do it, unfortunately the air bag warning light is on and their scanner has gone tit's up. So is it possible to reset the Airbag warning light, or must I have it done via a MB workshop. Thanks in advance.

My iCarsoft i980 will reset the airbag light. I'd expect any local garage with a reasonable code reader e.g. Snap-on will be able to reset it

Yes I am very pleased with the cost, I dropped the car off at 8.45 am and got a call about 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Went to pick it up looked at it and I could see they had done a good job, he said £70 + vat = £84. He did not have enough perforated leather for the whole job so I told him to use plain leather for the Two middle panels, It looks really good. Just like brand new.

You've done very well - even finding a good trimmer is one point; finding one with time available to do your job is a second then the price means you've won first prize!

I traded it in 2 weeks ago Col,,,,back to the dealership I bought it from, and when the salesman saw the seat, he was hhhmmmming and hhhaaawwing, so I said to him, its only a simple repair....no problem to get done. Ah, I don't think so he said..it does not look good...its the first thing that a prospective buyer will see when he open's the door. I know, I replied, thats exactly what I sad the first time I opened the door when I was buying it here, and I was told that it was only a simple repair..... you should have seen the look on his face.... But anyway, it's not my problem anymore, and the newer one that I bought has genuine leather upholstery, so problem solved, Thanks anyway for your helpful advice.
