C180 (W203) 2002 model saloon
Either someone has fitted the wrong mirror glass or the door mirror has been changed for a different model, because I wondered why the mirror heater and auto dimming was not working.
On removing the mirror glas I find that the wiring is not connected and can't be connected because the plug is not compatible with the connections on the back of the glass.
On the glass there are just 2 small male spade terminals, on the wiring harness there is a micro multi socket with 4 wires going to it plus a separate what looks to be earth terminal attached to it, which will not fit the glass.
Can anyone shed any light on this situation?
