Sold my C270CDi a while ago for a new Alfa Spider but couldn't resist when Hertz offered me an SLK for a €10 a day premium. Seems to be some special edition model - met black with charcoal alloys, lightweight seats (with air scarf) and special mats etc. Any idea what else is special about it of what it is supposed to be commemorating (Edition is actually written EDIT10N with the 10 in red so is it a 10th anniversary model).
Must say v.impressed with motor and handling (go kart like) but not with 24mpg vs Spiders 38mpg, lack of interior space & complete lack of attention/acknowledgement from onlookers.
