DVD Systems

Hi,
I have a E320 CDI with the standard SAT Navigation System with a slot for only the one CD. What would be the best system to get if i wanted a DVD System with a CD Stacking System? And would this be fitted in the boot of the viechle? And roughly what would the cost be for a decent system? Could anybody recommend a good supplier/fitter located in the South West London or Surrey area?

You can fit a CD changer to your existing MB radio head, but not a DVD, if you must have a DVD put in a sperate system, most of them have a very short life,and when it went wrong you could throw it away and buy a new one

Not sure if you mean DVD based sat nav or DVD movie player. Do you want rear screens or just a front one? As yours is a W211 and the dash slot is a double din unit, plus the wheel and cluster integration, I'd avoid any after market, non MB, head units and either stick as you are, or go with a command upgrade (but thats around £2.5k).

I got in touch with Baybrook's today and they did tell me that a DVD would play on my SAT Nav System which it does not. He then told me I have the half system and it would be around £2,500 for the full System which is too expensive for me. He has gave me a price of £597 for a six-CD Changer that is fitted in the compartment just above the gear lever. And he has gave me a price of £1,699 for a Playstation 2 that will also play DVD's where the two screens will be hidden in the two rear seat headrest. It looks like it will be a really neat job. I told them i will think about it over the next week.
