Hi there every one
I've recently bought an MB E 250 saloon but the bonnet opener is only releasing the passenger's side.
What could it be the problem: sensors, cables, latches?

Any help will be kindly appreciated.

This recently happened on my E220 - well actually neither side would release.
To resolve it, I got someone in the car working the bonnet release backwards and forwards while I tugged the bonnet up. I almost gave up when one side released. I persevered and then the other side released.
Two things to note: a ) don't tug the bonnet up too hard so that you twist or bend it; b) no need to pull the release in the car too hard as it should release in the first inch of moment or so. You can close the bonnet fully and then pull the lever to see when the good side releases to know how much to pull it. I got my assistant to work it backwards and forwards while I tugged.

On my car the mechanism at the bonnet catch was seized. I put easing oil onto it and closed and opened the catches with a screwdriver a dozen or more times before I risked actually closing the bonnet.

Hugely overlooked maintenance item. Once open give all bonnet latches a lube.

It also puts a big, big question mark onto the the sales patter -- "The car was fully serviced just last week -- I promise !??!".
