E 240 Car Radio

CAN YOU HELP!!!!
RADIO NOT WORKING BUT SHOWING STATION IS CONNECTED,IN RADIO DISPLAY TRIED ON /OFF BUTTON AND STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS(SHOWS AUDIO----)ON THE DASH DISPLAY ,NOTHING HAPPENS,BY THE WAY ITS A C10 TYPE RADIO/CASSETE, FITTED TO A 2001 E240 SALOON,IS RADIO KNACKERED!!!!!:-x

I've had my Audio10 crash a couple of times. Different behaviour each time and not what you have but its worth trying a reset. Pull the fuse (under the rear seat) and leave for a few secs and pop back in. You'll need the code to reset.
If that doesn't work, they will be on ebay all the time and should be cheap enough.

Just thinking how your heart can sink when these thing go wrong, Jberks posted another good answer and all of your problems go away, the sun comes out and they all lived happily ever after.
