e 270 cdi 2003 phone

hi all i am new in here,and cant find what i am looking for??
i have e 270 cdi and in the dash there is a phone symbols and when i press it it says no phone,do i need to get e phone ore can i conect mobile on it any hellp,,thanx on advance

The message you are getting is standard whether you have a phone system or not. To get a phone integrated, you need to determine whether or not your car has the telephone prewiring option fitted. If it has, there will be a place to fit a cradle in the centre armrest. You then need cradle that is compatable with your phone.

Note too that it is possible to retrofit telephone prewiring, but that is an expensive way!

Have a search on the site and you may be able to fill in more details, or somebody with more specific knowledge may be along to help as I'm not familiar with the 211 in detail.
