Hi there, lease can anyone help. My e280 Avantgarde(99) seems to only be getting a grip on the front brake and maybe one of the rear ones. There is no indication lamp coming on to say there is a problem< Has anyone ever encountered such a problem?

The indication lamp is only for pad wear or oil loss in the braking circuit.

With the help of a friend jack corners of the car up and check to see which wheels aren't braking.

Pull on the steering under braking may also indicate suspension or steering problems not just brakes.

There are quite a few things which can affect the braking efficiency.
