I accidentally put petrol in the diesel and had to have it drained immediately with no apparent problem. Two months later I had a new exhaust fitted and this included a new cat , This was unrelated to the fuel change but due to the exhaust rusting through. However the performance has now improved dramatically with an uncanny sports car like performance. Could this be due to the new cat or due to the fuel change. I only ran the car for a minute with the petrol in it to move off the pumps before draining .
