E 320 CDI - cold start problem

Hi,
I have a 2001 Mercedes E 320CDi estate that is experiencing start problems. I called the RAC and the chap they sent sprayed carb-cleaner in the air intake and this solved the problem. He said that the problem lay with the ‘cold start system’ and was a common problem with the car, but when I took that car to our garage they replaced an injector, but the problem has returned.

Does anyone know what’s wrong?

would say another injector, not un-common for them to have one or two go in same time,
