E 320 cdi not starting

Hi I’ve got a e 320 cdi 2004
Having trouble starting the car , no coil plug light coming on. And when It does show up which is hardly ever the car starts then cuts out instantly. Any ideas?

Hi, I’ve got an e 320cdi and it struggles to start, no coil plug light comes on so nothing happens, all dash lights up, when the coil light does come on which is very rarely it will start but only for a split second, any ideas. Thanks
