e 320 cdi over fueling

hi guys got a e320 cdi cleaned egr valve out but when reved hard you can see and smell fuel anyone help

When you say "see fuel" what exactly do you mean?

You should never smell fuel!

when i rev it hard when still it smokes and fuels is heavy on comsumptoin

If your engine is revving ok..ie no misfires or lack of power,hard to start etc. one of the first things to check is the injector seals, you will notice and hear a distinct puffing sound from any errant injectors, placing your hand close above each injector and you will feel the blowpast..next thing is the air flow meter MAF.. it really needs to be checked on a diagnostic star machine.. check also for hissing or air escaping around the bottom of the radiator where the intercooler is, these pipes can come adrift..

have noicticed there is no cats on this car there is a pre cat but would this make any diffrence no blow backs on injectors checked that allready car starts ok plenty of power just can smell fuel when rved hard

I would guess one or more injectors are not spraying correctly. You should also check the condition of your air filter.

air filter is new no blow back off injetors
