Since replacing the rear wheel ring on the half-shaft(which caused the ABS/TCS light to come on etc), I have found that the ABS system is now operating as the car slows down to almost a halt under normal braking(you feel the back-kick on the brake pedal and hear the ABS system operating).

Seems the ABS system has become "sensitive" and is operating even under normal braking as you come to a halt.

Is there a re-set procedure for the ABS system? or any advice please on potential cause.

Ssyetm was working fine before the problem with the half-shaft pick-up ring.

Probably your rear sensor is not properly aligned to pick-up all the gear pulses and therefore it is registering a different (slower) speed to your front wheels, hence ABS operating on the rear.
