E-class 1997 dash bulb change

Hello, hope someone can help, can not find out how to get to the bulbs located around the temperture control panel, trying to find how to remove that panal to get to them, any help would be more then fantastic, thankyou kindly.

Are you talking about the bit with the speedo or the one with the fan speed control?
If it is the speedo bit, then you need some special tools ( two stiff wire with a 90 degree hook at the end ) to pull the whole instrument cluster out. If it is the centre bit, then you need to remove the gear selector trim, and then the rest of the trim to get to it.
