E Class 211 airbag replacement

Good day to you all , new to this forum and Mercedes so Hello all.
I have purchased an 03 E320 an need to change the dash, passenger bag and drivers bag.
Has anyone got a schematic of the airbag system within the car showing all the sensors and where to find the srs unit.
Also as the airbags have been deployed , when I fit the new bags and refit the reset srs unit and reconnect the battery they won't deploy will they?
I was going to replace the front seat belt pretensioners but how do I know that they are 'used' I read one thread somewhere saying that if the belt clasp was below or level with the seat then they have been deployed , mine are 2-3 inches above the level of the seat.

Hope someone can help as I can't wait to get this motor back on the road for my first ever Mercedes drive.

Hello and welcome. the air bags all unplug, and on refiting the system must be re set on STAR

Yes all you can do is to replace what you think is faulty, and then plug into STAR, this will either tell you that the car is all clear and it you still have a fault and what that fault is

The seat belts are checked for condition on the MOT but if they are in good condition it should go through as I do not think that a SRS fault is part of the MOT

You could ask at your local MOT station

Thanks again, no doubt many more questions will pop up over the weekend as I will be reolacing the dash and installing new airbag.
Do't suppose you could point me in the direction of a drivers airbag?
Done Chrltons, Drosfields etc no joy.
Its the only thing left to buy now.
