Anyone else had this problem?
My estate - great car in every respect - has developed a bald patch on the edge of what I think is the trim panel that covers the driver's side seat belt lower machanisim.
This is because at over 6' 2", I have my seat back nearly all the way. When I get out, I find my right hip rubs against a 4" section of this trim resulting in a small bald patch. This is only about 1/4" at the moment but I suspect it will only grow. Stcking a bit of duck tape over it will stop the wear but look awful!
Is it possible to replace this piece of interior trim? I think it must be detachable to give access to the belt machanism.
One last question - the big one - will my Service Plus contract cover it? !!!!
Russ.
