E class Boot Emblem

Hi guys, just noticed the circular MB emblem on the boot of my E class is damaged:sad:, just wondered how these are adhered and can they be replaced or is it a main dealer job?

Hello Paul, you can pull it out with your finger nails,,it is a push fit. 280 in the link is a nylon grommet the the pins on the Star push into, once you get the new one, not expensive it will be clear how it fits.

Centre bit seems to be separate to the inner star. I managed to break mine but the dealer popped a new one on for me during the service. Didn't charge for the labour so it must be a 2 sec job. Part was around a fiver from memory.
