I have a current model E-Class Estate and have had problems with all the door kick panel trims breaking! Has anyone else suffered this? I rarely carry passengers and yet ALL 4 cracked!
Also, the plastic surrounding the front seat sliders has also broken at the rear of the seats - both the trim pieces nearest the outside of the car. Anyone else had this too?
My local dealer says I am unique and it can only be abuse! As I rarely carry rear passengers how can this be? I will post photos as soon as I can.

Ah, another quality MB dealer experience, I see. So are they saying it is not covered under warranty?

They tried to refuse warranty on the first but relented eventually! They told MB another reason rather than poor quality of components which I believe to be the truth!
Still waiting on the second!

Seems nothing changes from W210....I had same problems with mine. Wear and tear they called it....also no passengers etc, the sliders fell off before anyone ever sat in the back!!! MB never fixed them either.
