E class estate - boot conversions for increased height

I’m in the market for an E-class estate, but one key criteria is lacking.

I’ve a monster-dog that needs an extra 20cm head-room, but the modern form of all premium estates lack the height of older models, yet most have the space available under the boot floor.

Any owners know of existing solutions that that drop the floor level of the boot? Google isn’t returning anything and I’ve not encountered any used cars with conversions.

If I may ask, why specifically an estate, when the dreaded SUV would actually excel in this instance, even if you had to have some steps up for Fido?
