Interesting video for anyone with this problem.
It is when it's running but unfortunately heat soak takes over when stopped but having said that this particular ECU was butchered when other repairs where made. Most electronics can cope with engine bay temperature.Is this ecu not cooled by an air filter housing ?

There are certainly cooler places to put it but just how many M112 have suffered from this doesn't seem to be many?The thing is they don’t call it a hot vee for nothing I certainly wouldn’t put it there, to me a previous repair would indicate it wasn’t very happy with those temperatures
