E Class W211 2007 Telephone Pre Wiring Qn??

Can anyone advise... if my 2007 W211 avantgarde has a bee sting ariel on the roof of the car, does that mean the car has telephone pre-wiring?

When I purchsed the car from a MB dealer, the sales person told me that i HAVE pre wiring therefore, I just need to purchase the cradle. After buying the cradle and breaking apart the armrest console, I've found there to be NO cable!

Go back to the dealer and ask him to print off the order spec, that will tell you if the pre wiring is there

Check inside the central arm rest, there should be a small connector thingee. If its there then you have pre wire. The cradel should just plug in to this connector, no need to rip apart the interior trim.

Mine has a "bee sting ariel" and has pre wire so 1st impressions are good.

Could you take a pic of the inside of the arm rest for me and attach it so I can see if you have it, or alternatively PM Television with your VIN and he'll find out what the car was equipped with.

There is no connection in the centre glovebox. I took it to mercedes in park royal and one of the mechanics had a look. He said that theres NO pre wiring in the car. I asked, then y is there a bee sting ariel mounted on the roof? Looks like i was lied to by the sales guy when I purchased the car.

How do I go about getting the job done?? I have the telephone ariel, the SAP V2 bluetooth cradle.... what else??

The salesman lied, and you should complain that it was sold to you falsely and get them to fit it FOC.

Put the complaint politely, and in writing to the dealership, and use phrases such as "trade descriptions act" and "false representation". They should fit it FOC.
