Hi all,
My E240 has been suffering from vibration/wheel wobble. I have had the tracking and balancing done but it only made a small difference. The odd thing is that the speed that it occurs seems to vary - it doesn't occur below 60 but can appear almost any time above that. I have read of S classes that have certain bushes etc that can cause similar symptoms. Is there anything on the E to check before re-visiting the tyres. BTW it's had new front disks fitted and rears checked in the last month and it did it before and after so I've ruled them out. Its a 2000 model with 43k on the clock.

silly question - but i had this on my volvo - are all the tyres the same? i found that two different makes were 'fighting' each other and caused an odd coming and going wheel wobble.

Hi,
thanks for the reply. Yes they are all matched Continentals, fitted at the same time. I reckon they are about halfway through their life and appear ok.
