E Convertible (2011) Water Sloshing Sound

Hi

My wife has a 2011 Mercedes E200 Convertible which drives great. However, over the past few weeks we have noticed that when shes takes off or brakes the car we can hear a lot of water sloshing around like under the car perhaps but not sure where. It seems to sound heavier after rain.

Any idea what this could be and how to fix it?

Sills? .....check drains are clear

I've had the same on my 2013 Ecoupe it sort of comes and goes. Checked the doors and the floor, but all dry as a bone. wondered if it's fuel going from tank to engine? My solution is to turn up the sound system

Meaning under the doors? It sounds like under the doors

Very well documented issue, have read about on MB forums here and the US exactly as Uncle Benz pointed out earlier in this thread.
Take a look at this video shows how to empty the sills, there are apparently other grommets along the sill line that have a rubber flap for normal day to day drainage that may need cleaning.
