Hello folks,

This has probably been answered many times before.

I can no longer unlock the boot, I push the primary key into the lock, but cannot turn the key in the lock, I have a feeling the lock is knackered, I've already tried WD40, what else can I try?

WD40 is not good in locks as it dries out making the pins or levers stick.
I would get a tin of lighter fuel and squirt it in the lock several times (will not hurt plastic or paint). Failing this I think it will need a new barrel. MB or locksmiths sell the correct grease, but wash it out before using the grease

Thanks for that, I'll give that a try tomorrow, if I get chance. :)

I've read on the forum somewhere about using the wife's vibrator against the key while 'wiggling' it in the lock can often work wonders. If you don't have a wife, maybe something like an electric razor would be available?
This is not a joke by the way, it's been used on stuck ignition switches to free them so the barrel could be removed. Worth a try?
