E190 - Shameful neglect

I have a Merc E class 190 J reg. I bought it 12 months ago. About 6 months ago I stopped driving it and I am just realising what a waste.

I now want to get it back up and running. It was in cracking condition and it 110K on the clock when I stopped driving it. The only problem was that the window wipers stopped working. I went into the car yesterday and tried to turn it over for the first time and it would not start.

I am looking for suggestions of what I should do to get it back to its glory days. What should I do to it without spending crazy amounts of money to get it purring like a cat again?

All suggestions and help will gratefully be appreciated.

i assume the battery is dead, have you tried charging the battery at all, are there any eletrics at all ?

yea, sounds like the battery. You could try jumping or recharging... if just the wipers not working sounds like a fuse. Should be easy enough to get it going again... (and if you want it purring like a cat, use it lots- these cars dont like sitting
