E200 central locking problems

hi all, hope you can help me!!!

i bought an 2003 E200 advanteguard 6 months ago. all is well with the car, i am a very happy MB driver.... however i got into the car this morning and as normal when pulling away the cemtral locking kicks in and locks all the doors, but the passenger lock just kept going up and down then stayed up while all the rest locked, now if you push it by hand it locks, but not automaticly like the others!! when i got out of the car and tried to lock it from the outside, it still remained the only lock not to lock. the only way it will lock all 4 door locks is if you hit the lock button twice......

could anybody help me out here, any ideas are welcome cheers.

You need a new door latch, its a common fault, about 90-100 quid for a new one!!

cheers thanks for the advise, now for the questions sorry about this. door latch is that on the door or the receiver on the door well? and is it handy to fit?

Its a new motor for the lock that is needed
