E220 1995 (M) electric windows jamming

Anybody help? I'm a new member so not too technical please l'm still learning! Have problems with both front windows, passenger one only goes down halfway b4 jamming, drivers has to be slid down half way and then the motor does the rest. Tried to get into the door panel but can't find my way in!!! Any ideas??

Hello and welcome,,I can let you have details for removing the door cards, Its possible the that just the window runner are worn out or they need lubricating

Good news on the passenger side-you should get away with spraying the window seals at the top of the door with plenty of silicon & working the window up & down a few times.
Not so good on the drivers side though-if it can be slid down part of the way it sounds as if the teeth may be stripped on the regulator.

would be grateful if you could, it sounds like the passenger one jams against something in the door. Hence the need to remove the door panel. Have looked every where for hidden screws etc to no avail!
