I have a 2015 E220, with the above fault, I have changed Wheel Bearing and also ABS ring and also sensor on the front left, I am still getting the following issues,

C04AE00 The signal from component L6/1 (Left front axle sensor) is Faulty
On live data speed will go the same as other three wheels upto around 15-25mph then fault comes on and speed will show 40723mph and will stay like that until codes are cleared.

Any Advice or help would be greatly appriciated

Is this the type with magnets in the wheel bearing seal? If so then it's possible to push the seal in too far. It needs to go flush.

If you replaced the sensor did you use a genuine one? Third party ones often give trouble.
