Hi,

The rubber strip that goes around the door to seal it when shut has ripped/split at the top 'pointed' corner.

I am pretty sure it is because it has been catching when the door is shutting but would it be covered under warranty do you think, or would it be a wear and tear thing?

Thanks,

Neil

If it can be shown the door is fitted badly so that it catches the rubber then possibly yes,, have you asked them

Hi, thanks for the response.

I haven't yet as I am waiting to take it in to MB about a gearbox problem I am having (posted in another section) and I will show them it while there.

I just wanted to be pre-armed if it should be covered and yet they avoid doing it.

Thanks,

Neil

Hi, thank you, I will let you know how I get on.

Neil

knowing MB and their 3 yr warranty , I doubt they'll question it. They'll probably just fix it.
