Help!

My alarm goes off intermittently mainly in the day but sometimes at nights.
The only way I can disable it is by removing fuse No: 11 in the battery compartment.
Is there some way for me to adjust the sensors or do I have to take it to a dealer?
Alternatively Is there another way for me to disable the alarm, until I can get it fixed?

When I remove fuse No: 11 I get the following alarms:
BAS [Brake assist]and ESP Elecronic Stability Program] ? ok once I replace the fuse.

Have you tried switching off the interior monitoring when you lock the car?
There is a switch on the dashboard for this.
Also, check that all the windows are properly closed.

Have you not got an alarm key. A small red or black one with MBSS 2a

If its fitted with an ordinary MB system though, you may be out of luck.

Thanks, didn't think of that. Couldn't get the switch to work properly, so I've disconnected the cable going to the roof sensor. Will monitor for 24 hours and see if that works.

The windows were closed properly.

This is a MB Factory fitted alarm that's activated by the Electronic Key Fob. No seperate switch unfortunately.

Just 2 ideas:#1: A possible weak battery. #2: Try closing all vents.

Em: Interior deactivation button fault?

I would be suspicious if you cant get the button to work properly - mine works perfectly so if your's doesn't it does indicate a fault somewhere.

Stop car, press the top portion of the button. The led flashes rapidly for a few secs, then goes off. Then lock the car in the normal way.
What is your's doing?

Just recently Installed a new battery because of another problem - but was the same with old battery.

Wouldn't have thought the vents would let in enough drought to trigger off the internal sensors but that is a possibility that I will bear in mind.

Will have to investigate de-activation button later.

Still ok at the moment with the internal sensors disconnected.

I have checked the button again and P42-43 of the Owner's Manual and it does appear that there might be a problem with the Switch. However I think that whilst this might be the best way to de-activate the Interior motion Sensor, if the switch does not work then the sensor will remain on. My problem is I am trying to switch it off.

I removed the sensor from the roof and disconnected the cable. The Alarm has not gone off now for abour 5 hours - that seems to have done the trick. Thanks!

Thought problem was solved with Interior Sensor disconnected but still going off I'm afraid. Any more ideas out there?

Did you find the siren Audley.

On my car its under an open-ended cover near the left wheel arch.

I would suggest going to a good auto electrician that specialises in alarms. It sounds like the voltage drop sensor is being activated by a power leak, or the sensor itself. A multimeter will be able to tell if you have a drain.

The alarm in my Peugeot goes off when the battery runs low....I see a few posts on this here too, worth looking at especially as an 01 battery may be heading to end of life.

I put my car up for sale after all the electrical problem I've had.

After a visit to George Frazer in Wembley all my Electrical problems are now sorted. Despite the car spending about 5 hours in the workshop, I was only charged £165.

List of probems:
Courtesy Lights won't switch off automatically
Indicators not flashing when door locked remotely
Alarm kept going off
Central locking kept operating on/off whilst driving.

Culprit: 1 x Door Switch
