E220 Kick down

i,m new to the forum,i have just bought an e220 coupe 1995 on an M plate,i think there is a problem with the kick down as in it dont kick down would it be an elctrical fault or machanical?

This could be an open track in the fuel pump relay item 99

Or could be cable kick sown switch problems

Or it could be like 90% of the W124s I drive - the kickdown cable is not adjusted properly

I would agree with this, its common for the bowden cable to need adjustment and its a good place to start your investigation.
