Follow up from the Oil Filter thread.
Managed to get the manifold off our E220, engine in situ.
Yes as you said Paul a struggle, 4 hours.
The offending nuts and brocken bolt. .

One, as you can see needed a chisle. One dropped off and the other needed a 6 sided socket. You can see they started rounding.
Anyway job done, sounds like a Merc' now
