E230 - where is the battery???

My battery is flat. 've looked in the manual and it says it is located in the engine compartment but I can't find it!!! :???: Anyone point me in the right direction?

Mercedes batteries are usually located in the boot next to the spare wheel, not sure if the E320 does but my CLK certainly does.

if its a 210 then under rear seat o/s, a 211 in boot drivers side!

It was under the rear seat.
