E240 fuel capacity

Can anyone tell me the exact brim-full to dry fuel capacity of a 2001 E240 Avant-Garde estate? The handbook is deeply confusing. I squeezed in 69.84l the other day after 5m showing range and fuel content of 0 so I suspect it is 70l as cited elsewhere but would appreciate confirmation.
