Please can anyone advise me about this problem. Appreciate your help - in advance. Thanks.
Have tried both keys - but it occurs with both.
Usually it seems that the key is locked in for about 25 to 30 secs.
Looking at other threads it seems like it could fall into the EIS problem area.
Only purchased the car last week. Infact it seemed to do it when I took it for a test drive but I thought it was me doing something daft, as suggested by the dealer. But can confirm Park selected and foot on brake etc.
I`m wondering now if the dealer new there was an issue.
Is this a common problem?
I`m live outside Bristol so could use a number of MB service workshops nearby, but would be happy if a particular one was recommended.
Thanks
