I am about to change my water pump and using the wis instructions from a dvd. It tells me to remove the viscous fan from the front of the water pump after I remove the belt. Problem is there isn't a fan on the engine only an electric one behind radiator... Does anyone know of a modification to remove this fan or has a previous owner lost it?? I've never had any overheat issues at all ,only changing pump as its getting noisy.

Yes do not worry, this was deleted after a water problem that shorted out the control unit that in turn stopped the car, as it was wired across the engine ECU.

Enjoy your car :D
