Radio/cd changer E270

Guys I have just been told that my cd changer needs a new load assembly and the radio cd player needs a new PCB regulator (something like that) which would cost £475 to repair. Could I repair it myself as the radio works fine? - any ideas on where to get component parts or am I better off getting a new system altogether?
