e270 help needed please

Hi after trying several cars the weekend nothing to better the all round quality of my 2003 e270 so going to keep it so the couple of issues i have i would like to sort out i have had the valeo problem sorted 12 months ago, the 2 issues are when stuck in traffic the temperature gauge goes up a couple of notches it soon goes down when moving again is this normal and i have a droning when going under 40 it is from the front and seems to be in time with the wheels rotating hope that makes sense could it be engine mountings any advice would be greatly appreciated regards dave

Droning at wheel speed is often just a failed wheel bearing.

The droning is normally a tyre - just a bit concerned re the valeo issue as one of the symptoms is a drone. It could be engine mounts - a new set certainly quietened mine down but I didn't clear the drone completely until I changed tyre brands.
