I have 2003 E270cdi.

I have two keys for the car. One works fine the other seems to make the headlights stay on even in daylight and switch in off position. I have just changed the battery in the key but still find this strange.

Do you have memory seats?

Could be the one key is programmed with the preference of Daylight running lights.

OK you must go to your consumer menu in the cluster and with the key in that turns the headlamps on, go to the convenience menu and turn them off

As above, i expect its key dependant/programed, put the "offending" key in and reprogram on dash.
