E300 diesel with poorly engine

I have a 1996 E300 diesel non turbo which has slipped its timing chain, i am looking for a replacement engine and wondered if anyone could help me with what might fit. I can get hold of a G-Wagon diesel but ideally i'd like to fit an engine from a E300 TD, if anyone has the knowledge please let me know.
