Hi guys, i've got a problem with a E300 hybrid .
When i start ignition, it stays on the electric drive and instead of switching the engine on, it stays blocked on the hybrid drive until the battery runs out and the car stops.
If i switch on the engine on the SPORT mode , the engine runs fine, but once i put it in Eco ( comfort ) mode , the engine cuts-off and stays locked on electric drive

Does the engine start ok on first start and then fails to start after switching to electric?

Yea do not switch to diesel

but sometimes i heve to use sport mode to start engine
hybrid battery have arround 80%

Possibly starter, engine starts in hybrid and then uses starter there on. Changed many.
