Anyone out there got one of these with automatic box?
Does it seem sluggish to pull away ie. do you need more throttle movement than you think just to get it off the mark? It seems to require almost flooring to get the revs to the point where it pulls away with any power.
Many thanks

Your Mercedes
A diesel
Check it's not stuck in Winter mode, as it will pull away in 2nd if it is.
Check with the S/W switch at idle, you should just feel the change, also count the gear changes or pull the stick back into 1st to see if if the box is missing 1st.

If it's tuck in W it will be the switch mechanism, quite cheap.

If it's not that then either the box is low on oil or the engine is not producing power, possibly due to the MAF sensor.
